In the second half, goalkeeper Caleb Penny had many saves, helping force overtime tied 1-1. Both teams were unable to score during two overtimes, but the game was decided on penalty kicks, which Pittsburg outscored Bullard 4-2.

“I am extremely proud of this team and all they have accomplished this year,” coach Vossler said in an email. “We are graduating 11 seniors and will have six returning starters for the 21-22 (school) year.”

The team finished out the season with a record of 18-5-1.
